Survivors Charter School in Boynton Beach was created to give students experiencing problems in the Palm Beach County public school system another chance for success. This Boynton Beach charter school personalizes its teaching methods for the individual needs of the students and stresses the importance of becoming a productive citizen of the community. Mandatory participation in Work Experience classes, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and the Pay It Forward assignments help teach and strengthen character. Since August, 2000, Survivors Charter School has graduated more than 1000 students and had 70 percent go on to positive ventures post-graduation. The Palm Beach County school is located near I-95, Lantana Road, and South West Park and the luxury condos of Venetian Villas.
